PEACE OUTside Campus Programs:
Teens 'N Transition is a program for high school students who are about to experience one of the most significant transitions in their life: beginning college. A peer-led program, TNT gives students the tools they need to be proactive in safeguarding themselves. Participants hear personal accounts of incidents from program leaders, learn how to identify high-risk situations, and how to take steps to avoid becoming a victim of violent crime.

Identify the Risk is an expansion the Teens ‘N Transition program specifically for parents. This presentation informs parents about risks and safety issues that their student could face while away at college. Parents will hear statistics and real life stories from staff and interns and walk away equipped with talking points to begin a conversation with their student about college safety.

PEACE OUTside Campus Resources:
Off-Campus 101 - Because of their general lack of knowledge of the communities surrounding their school, off-campus students are often targets for violence and crime. Without the added security and resources of the school to assist them, students who live off campus are faced with critical safety decisions on a daily basis. Please visit our resources for living off-campus. |
