Lauren Galasso

Lauren Galasso currently resides in her hometown of Port Chester, New York. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Binghamton University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Management with a Concentration in Marketing and a Minor in Environmental Studies. Currently, Lauren works as an Account Executive at McCann HumanCare, a consumer health and wellness advertising agency.
A former gymnastics teammate of Lindsey, Lauren has been with Peace OUTside Campus since the beginning. She was the President and Founder of the Binghamton University Chapter of Peace OUTside Campus from 2010 to 2012. Initiatives of this Chapter included self-defense classes in partnership with Campus Police, a 5K Lindsey Run/Walk in collaboration with the Running Club, participation in Take Back the Night, an Off-Campus 101 seminar in collaboration with the Off-Campus College Council, and spreading awareness through tabling and fundraising efforts on and off campus. Because of her generous commitment of time, leadership, inspiration and dedication to the mission, Lauren received the first Student Leadership Award in 2012 from the Board of Directors at Peace OUTside Campus.
Lauren was asked to join the Board of Directors in January 2013. As a board member, Lauren continues to help develop Peace OUTside Campus as an organization. We are privileged to have Lauren’s support and dedication to our mission of spreading a message of safety on college campuses.
