The first Lindsey Run/Walk was held several months after the violent crime that took Lindsey’s life. It consisted largely of family and friends who came together to celebrate Lindsey’s memory and kick off the Foundation that would bear her name. Since its inception, the event has grown dramatically and last year drew close to 1,000 participants. Hundreds more donated their time and professional services to remember Lindsey and support the mission of this foundation. The 13th Annual 5K Lindsey Run/Walk will take place on Sunday, October 1, 2017. Proceeds will go towards furthering the mission of PEACE OUTside Campus, The Lindsey M. Bonistall Foundation.
Through your generosity, proceeds from the 13th Annual 5K Lindsey Run/Walk will provide community outreach programs to high schools and colleges. Teens ‘N Transition (TNT) has been presented to 12,000+ high school students to help better prepare them for the safe transition to college. Identify The Risk (ITR) informs parents about the risks and safety issues that their child could face while away at college.
