Ongoing Initiatives 2008-2009
On February 26, 2009 Teens 'N Transition presented at North Salem High School. Journal News reporter Danielle De Souza covered the event with her article entitled: North Salem High School Seniors Get Tips On Staying Safe In College.

POC was interviewed in August 2008 by journalist Jean Bello for the White Plains Times highlighting the Teens ‘N Transition program, which is available to area high schools free of charge.
The Foundation was also featured in the Journal News on October 8th, 2008 (Noreen O’Donnell) highlighting POC programs, events and initiatives.
Co-Founder Kathleen Bonistall and event committee member Ron Belmont were guests on “Harrison Live”, a live broadcast radio show reaching the local community, in order to raise awareness on safety issues and concerns for college students on October 23, 2008.
